WINNER: 2021 YOUNGSHITS PROFESSIONAL WINNER (November)
The task was to make the topic of topsoil damage/erosion "sexy." It is not an issue that's discussed in mainstream outlets very often, but it directly affects how most of our food and other resources will be available in the future. In fact, topsoil may be unavailable in 60 years if we continue the farming practices being used today. Our idea was to associate the disappearance of topsoil with the extinction of our favorite foods, such as pizza and burgers.
